Collectakit Buying and Trading
As we specialise in obsolete model kits, our source for these kits are the people who have collected over the years. If you have a collection that you think we might be interested in, feel free to

What do we buy?
We buy a lot of different types of models, we pride ourselves on being able to provide a wide range to our customers. Our main buying consists of:
Plastic Kits / Diecast Metal Vehicles / Model Railway.
We also purchase other items, if you have anything that you think we might like, feel free to
contact us.
How is it done?
We don't expect anyone to drive a lorry sized collection all the way to us, we come to you! (UK mainland only) There is generally no charge for this, although if someone is just looking for a valuation or is hawking a collection around the marketplace we may.
We have a policy of buying whole collections and not "cherry picking" from what you have, we know that would just leave you in a harder position to sell off those ones that are not as sought after.
Payment and Price
We will do our best to offer you as fair a price to both of us as we can. The price we offer you will be based upon condition of the items within the collection as well as how the market is responding to certain types\makes of models.
We will also arrange swaps if you are changing your interest or perhaps scale of models you already have.
You can always bring smaller collections to the shows that we are attending, a list of the shows can be found on our
